The catalyst and crosslinking agent that bonds CeramycGuard™ and Fortress XD™ into a unified 3-part composite system, forming a complete moisture barrier that will not chalk, peel, or delaminate.
CeramycGuard™ seals and chemically bonds to the concrete substrate. Fortress XD™ delivers the tough urethane finish. CrossLinker™ VB is what connects them. Applied between the two, it acts as both a catalyst and an adhesion promoter, crosslinking the two chemistries into a single, cohesive composite that behaves as one unified layer.
The result is a complete moisture barrier across the full system depth. Because the bond is chemical rather than mechanical, the finished surface resists the separation forces that cause conventional coatings to chalk, peel, and delaminate over time.
